From corner to corner of Taylor County, you are guaranteed to make fine memories in numerous campgrounds that celebrate the enlivening spirit of the forest.
Chippewa Campground
This 78-unit campground is situated along the eastern shores of the 2,714-acre Chequamegon Waters Flowage. Campsites can accommodate RVs up to 35 feet. Campsites amenities include a parking spur, fire grill, picnic table, and tent pad. Three campground loops have hot showers and flush toilets, and one loop has accessible vault toilets and running water.
Cheqaumegon Waters Flowage has two swimming beaches and a boat ramp. Other campground amenities include playground, trailhead for the Perkinstown Motorized Trail, trailer sanitary station, and fish cleaning station are provided. Nearby is Miller Dam, which offers a popular shore fishing area and a boat launch.
Directions: Travel north of Medford on Hwy 13 for 4 miles, left on County Hwy M for 24 miles, turn left on Forest Rd 1417 for 1 mile to campground sites.

Eastwood Campground – Mondeaux Flowage
Eastwood Campground has 22 standard campsites located in a mature hardwood forest along the eastern shore of the Mondeaux Flowage. Campsites include parking spurs, fire grills, picnic tables, and tent pads. Winter camping is available but you will NOT have water during those months. Amenities near the campground include boat ramp, swimming beach and picnic tables. The Mondeaux Dam lodge also has commercial services including boat rentals, showers, bathrooms, restaurant and firewood sales.
Directions: Travel north from Medford on Hwy 13 for about 15 miles, left (west) on County Rd D for 6.5 miles, left (south) on Forest Road 104 and travel ½ mile to campground entrance.

Picnic Point Campground –
Mondeaux Flowage
Offers 4 Premium sites for tent campers located in a mature hardwood forest along the western shore of the Mondeaux Flowage. Sites are equipped with parking spurs, fire grill, picnic tables, boat access, vault toilets and drinking water. Located near the campground are a variety of commercial services including canoe & boat rentals, showers, and some food and firewood sales at the Mondeaux Dam Lodge.
Directions: Travel north on Hwy 13 for 4 miles, turn left on Hwy M for 7 miles, turn right on County Rd E for 8.5 miles, right on Forest Rd 1563 for 1 mile, turn right on Forest Rd 106 for 2 miles and there will be the campground sites.

Spearhead Point Campground – Mondeaux Flowage
This 27-unit campground is located on the west side of the Mondeaux Flowage. It is the most popular campground offering easy access to the Ice Age National Scenic Trail. Amenities include boat access, small docks, drinking water, picnic shelter and vault toilets. Located near commercial services at the Mondeaux Dam lodge.
Directions: Travel north in Medford on Hwy 13 for 4 miles, turn left (west) on County Road M for 7 miles, turn right (north) on county E for 8.5 miles, turn right (east) on Forest Rd 1563 for about 1 mile, turn right on Forest Rd 106 and look for entrances at the top of the hill.
West Point- Mondeaux Flowage
This is a 15-unit campground on the western shores of the Mondeaux Flowage. This is a quieter, less active campground. Drinking water, accessible vault toilets, trash dumpsters, parking spur, and fire grills are provided. Camping available on a first come first serve basis. Located near commercial services at the Mondeaux Dam lodge
