Medford City Park – Medford, WI

Medford’s City Park is a vibrant source of recreation for everything from casual strolls to sports and picnics. The 100-acre park is home to the city’s sports facilities, swimming pool, skate park, trails, and even an RV camping area. The three City Park shelters are available for rent for family and community activities from May through September 30th.

Pool
Medford’s municipal swimming pool is an excellent place to soak up the summer sun! The large zero-entry pool offers easy access for people of all ages and abilities. Cool off with plenty of exciting activity areas within the pool. Lifeguards are on duty during pool hours ensuring safe fun for everyone. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own chairs as seating is limited. The pool is open from June to August, 7 days a week.

Skate Park
Catch some air! City Park is also home to a challenging BMX/skatepark equipped with ledges, ramps, rails, quarter pipes, and much more. An estimated 75% of ramp surfaces utilize pro-grade Skatelite for smoother and safer rolling to show off your best tricks! Pads are recommended for your safety, but are not required. The skatepark is open daily until 11pm.

Grahl Park – Medford, WI

Grahl Park is a 7-acre recreational space nestled in a residential area for easy pedestrian access. Grahl Park has one reservable shelter with restroom facilities, a kids’ play area, baseball diamond, and basketball court for everyday recreation.

The Grahl Park shelter can be rented out for family and community activities from May through September 30th.

 

Riverwalk – Medford, WI

The Riverwalk is a scenic waterfront path linking City Park and Grahl Park along the Black River and Medford flowage. Take in the view at the many observation points, benches, and picnic spots. The scene is complete with charming covered bridges along the way.

Lakeview Park – Rib Lake, WI

Savor a hilltop view of Rib Lake from Lakeview Park! The park features a pavilion, restrooms with showers, playground, and campground, so there is plenty to do. The spacious pavilion (30’ x 60’) accommodates up to 100 of your family and friends for graduation parties, family reunions and community events. It is furnished with a refrigerator, large sliding cooler, and U-shaped bar for conveniently serving food. The versatile fold-down windows open up for great airflow and view, or close down to protect against weather or provide privacy if desired. The pavilion is available to rent from mid-April to mid-October; heat is available for the colder months.

Lakeview Park is a great place for recreation. Get your team together to play a few games in the sand volleyball courts and horseshoe pits! Or head down to the nearby lake to reel in some big ones. Put your boat in in at the public boat landing or see what you can catch from the three wheelchair-accessible public docks.

Rib Lake Ice Age Park & Pavilion – Rib Lake, WI

Enjoy your next family gathering or community get-together at Rib Lake’s spacious and shady Ice Age Park & Pavilion. The park overlooks Rib Lake for that up-north feeling that’s all about relaxation. While the kids play on the playground, appreciate the beauty of the wooden arch bridge over a bubbling creek.

The fully enclosed pavilion offers seating for up to 220 guests, making it ideal for weddings, family reunions, fundraisers and more. Rent it out year-round– it features air conditioning and heat to keep the temperature just right. The pavilion is also fully equipped with restrooms, kitchen, tables and chairs, even a dry bar with tappers and a dance floor! Make it an event to remember at this special spot. There’s plenty of parking, too, so invite all your friends!

Gilman Village Park – Gilman, WI

Stop by the Gilman Village Park to experience the last swinging bridge in Wisconsin! This scenic park gives you a special opportunity to see this unique 100+ year-old bridge across the beautiful Yellow River.

You’ll find a playground area and baseball diamond, concessions stand, public bathrooms and a reservable pavilion. The park is also home to a bandstand and stage.
